Thailand must surely lay claim to being Southeast Asia’s ultimate island-hopping destination: a country that has a handful of islets barely touched by tourism. Thailand has wow-factor forever printed into its pearl-white sand. This is the classic paradise: deserted beaches, sparkling topaz waters, a bountiful marine life, some of the most beautiful retreats on earth, even a docile population of turtle!
Of these many island paradises, we’ve honed in on a very select few that comprise our 10-night escape! You’ll get the unique opportunity to hop between four of Thailand’s spectacular islets, starting with Krabi – “a Phuket-like hideaway, but still unspoiled,” according to the New York Times.
Next up is Koh Lanta, for a natural paradise that feels like a million miles from anywhere, peaceful and thankfully still largely unspoilt, with pristine beaches and soaring emerald green mountains!
The scenery is even more magnificent at Phi Phi, about 25 miles southwest of Krabi town. With its awesome cliffs, lively coral reefs and caves echoing with sea swallows, Phi Phi was the setting of choice in the hit novel, The Beach. Your journey concludes on the silky shores of Phuket, famed for its coral reefs and the green-covered sugar-loaf rocks rising from the sea in Phang Nga Bay.
Along the way you’ll stay in a plethora of luxury hotels lining the platinum shores of each island, all vying to make your stay even more magical. All come with outdoor pools and a pampering service, where the promise is “give us your body and we’ll rejuvenate your mind.”
